They say “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – my journey started more than 15 years ago and has finally reached its end – I have travelled 3683 kilometres since last Wednesday.
Yesterday morning I left Grafton at 7:00am and drove to the Gold Coast, I stopped for (about) 6 hours and at 6:00pm started driving home…
The trip took 26 hours and 28 minutes Grafton, Gold Coast, Home) and in total I spent 18 hours in the car including 4 hours sleep – This has been a physical and emotionally draining trip and I thank everybody that has been a part of the journey, thank you for your help, beds, showers, phone calls, text messages and Facebook posts… you have helped keep me sane – Love you all Good Night
